You can use a timer or storyboard to smoothly move the object when a key press is detected. This would be the smoothest approach I think :)

Hi all,
This is urgent, your response is appreciated. I am switching jobs and my new employer wants me to go to the UK for some training in a week for about 5 days. They are sending the H1-B transfer application in couple of days, so the transfer has not been done. The img. lawer said they will send the receipt notice to me in the UK and I could travel back with my previous H1-B visa from my previous employer. I am a citizen of India woking in the STEM field for the last 2 years. I am still working and my employment will last for about 1 more week.
QUESTIONS:
1. Please let me know you see any problems at immigration when coming back to the US?
2. Can the employer wait couple of more weeks before sending cancellation of my H1-B visa without paying me during that time?
3. If I take an unpaid leave durimg this time, will that help?

I received my EAD but my spouse EAD did not arrive and it has been more than 2 weeks. The status says Card production Ordered.
I ehard USCIS asks us to anyhow reapply, so should I have to wait untill the 30 days have passed to reapply for replacement ead or can I apply before?. Is there any way the process can be expedited as my spouse has to work on this EAD. Any info is really appreciated.
Also can we work when we have the receipt for replacement card

I am on a H1B with company A. I've been offered a job with company B which is currently processing my H1 transfer paperwork. I had accepted the offer letter from company B and had submitted all my papers for H1B transfer.
The starting date in the company B is 20th Nov as per offer letter. Now I had decided to stay back with the company A (by 18th Nov) before joining the company B. Is there any issue by doing so?

My grand father and grand mother are trying to apply for visitor visa.. my grand father is a retired govt employee and grand mom is home maker.. my grandfather is coming on their own and we are not sponsoring them..he will be able to submit tax returns as he runs small business and owns 1 apartment and few lands my questions are:
1.what are the documents should he take for visa ?
2.how much of bank balance? (they say 6 months of bank statements is necessary)
3.cant he just say he's retired and take the asset evaluation and bank statements alone?
please help ...

Hi,
My wife is on H1B and she couldnt work for the past 6 months. I applied for my I 140 and I 485 during the July fiasco last year and she was not added as my spouse and we got married at a later date.
Since she didnt receive pay for 6 months, I guess she is out of status for these 6 months. So my question is will this have any effect on her GC process when I add her as my spouse to the I 485 application whenever my priority date become current ? I am really worried and dont want to screw up my GC process after a long wait.

My husband is on H1 and i am on H4. We recently got our EADs. What I want to know is, can i start working right away with my EAD while my husband works on H1 or are there any rules like my husband also needs should change his status from H1 to EAD so that I may use my EAD card?

Did everybody who filed Jul 2nd at NSC got their reciepts?
seems like TSC is done entering Jul 2nd application as Jul 3rd-5th are getting their reciepts. It makes me wonder as to how the reciepts are issued if Jul 2nd filers are waiting and farther dates got their reciepts. Is it only issuing delay ?

Hello gurus,
My H1 expires in march 2009, I have valid EAD and AP, I want to renew my H1to be on the safer side.
My wife made use of her EAD for few months and now she is not working, and we are planning to visit India for few weeks next year and get H1 and H4 stamped.
here are my questions:
1. Can my wife get her H4 extension when I apply for my H1 extension ?
2. Does USCIS know that she used her EAD (Is there a way that they can find out) and will there be any problem in approving H4 extension ?
3. Now that she is not using her EAD, Is she back on H4 status ? She came here as H4 and never made a trip back.

The time spent in H4 does NOT count towards the 6 year H1 time. So in your case the H1 clock starts from Sep 2004.

The logic of making everyone current is that USCIS need to use up all the 140,000 visas by end of fiscal year.
I think that the slot does not get counted against the 140,000 until the GC is approved.
Therefore, USCIS may need to approve a lot of GC before October.
That would mean they need to process a bunch of applications within a 3 month period.
Is my logic flawed? Or might there be hope that some good number of us will get GC in 3 to 4 months?

How much time does it take for 485 to get approved with a visa number available. I applied for 485 after my i-140 was approved. Does the priority date have anything to do with processing for 485?
Nobody know how long it takes to adjudicate I485 once your PD becomes current. A conservative guesstimate would be 6-8 months. The whole processing of I485 is driven by the PD.
