Hello
My friend is in USA on F1 visa and her wife and daughter denined visa twice with reason that my friend is studying here not working.
Even he is not offering sponsership to her wife and kids. His in laws are sponsering both of them. Now he wants to invite them on his graduation day. Can he get a letter from local senator with F1 visa status ? or is that only for people who pays taxes . ( H1b or l1b ) ?
Please advise.

I have been working with company A since december 2005 on my OPT.
Company A filed for my H1 that was approved and the start date for this
visa is december 1st 2006 (OPT expires december 15th, 2006). I am
talking to company B that wants me to join in november but is not sure
if they can file for a transfer before my visa begins. I have looked
around in various forums but havent found a satisfactory answer.
I have pay stubs from company A but, of course, they would be dated from
before the beginning of my visa. Can I use these for my transfer
application? Is transfer even possible in my case?

She should be able to go and get stamped now. But she will have to wait until about 10 days before october 1st to enter US using that stamp.

I am wondering how do I help / sponsor to obtain US tourist visa (B2) for my young (say below 10 years) niece and nephew in India. Their parents (my brother and his wife) will not travel with them so they do not need a visa.
What is the procedure? What are the documents that I need to send from the US? What are the documents my brother in India need to provide?

Try taking the main battery AND the "clock" battery out. Leave them out for at least 15 minutes [longer is fine]. Then re-insert clock battery and then main battery.
Check that there's no buttons being stuck in.
