I know this issue is still a grey area and certainly no one seems to know a concrete answer to this.
If i have my H-1 Visa and EAD as well. Can i continue to Work on my H1-visa for the primary employer and take up a part-time job with the EAD.
I have hear ppl say that H1 becomes void once EAD is used. Is there any kind of document advocating this? I have not seen any. Lawyers have conflicting opinoin. Has anyone thought about this. I have decided to take an infopass appointment and ask the IO to show me a document that states that H1-becomes void or The other way around.
Can anyone shed more light in to this. Thanks

I've a situation here to switch from Company A (who sponsors my GC and H1B) to Company B, I've completed AOS (6 months period too):
1. Whether I can transfer my H1B (sponsored by company A) to company B when i join them? (but H1B is not stamped yet on PP) if not H1 transferrable, then I've to use EAD only.
2. Company B will ask me what papers I need for GC sponsorship either NOW or in FUTURE, can anybody know this? please help
3. I know that i need to file AC-21 to do the switch, what are the procedures like:
a. job position should be same or similar?
b. what paper work other than AC-21 needed to do this switch in changing employer information, fees for doing this change?
any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know.

My spouse qualifies under cross-chargeability, she filed her I-485 application after mine, with me as the primary applicant. I never mentioned anything about cross-chargeability in my application.
Now the PD is current for "all -other chargeability" how do I check if my I-485 application is going to be picked up?
Any ideas how I can do that?

� She has been working on EAD since Aug-2007 with Company A
� Company A applied for her GC on 18-Aug-2009 in EB2 while she was still on L2
� Company A applied for H1 which got approved on 08-Oct-2009 till 01-Oct-2012
� We travelled out of US on 10-Dec-2009 and only gave the L2 I-94 on departure, didn�t give H1 I-94
� She got her L2 stamped from India and entered US on L2 on 03-Jan-2010
Please let us know the following:
� Is there any potential of her H1 getting cancelled because she entered back on L2?
� Do we need to get her H1 stamped immediately by going to Mexico?
� Is her L2 EAD still valid and can she work?

Is e-filing faster than paper filing? Any suggestions?
Also, my PD will become current from August.
No. This requires fingerprinting. Based on varios posts, it seems to be taking approximately 3 weeks more.

I have one question about the online AR-11 form.
In the online AR 11 form there is one field called Port of entry and there is drop down box which has many items to select the port of entry. This drop down box has two items related to my port of entry.
MA- BOSTON
MA- LOGAN Airport
Are these really two different airports?
I entered US in the Boston Logan Airport (international airport). Which entry I need to select?
