    Because of some reason or the other it happend to be so bad that my I140 documents were sent by courier on Tuesday - 17 July 2007.

    can any one of you please suggest what best I can do to file my 485 during this current window July 17 to Aug 17 2007.

    Hi All,

    I sent h1b extension application to california center on june 22nd and my application is still not approved. My current visa was valid until July 30th. I need to travel to India on Dec 10th due to urgent reasons . Please suggest what should I do

    1. Can I travel while my extension is pending?
    2. Can I raise a service request to speed up the processing?
    2. or Upgrading to PP is the only option?

    I do have EAD and advance parole through my husband's GC application. If I use parole for travel what happens to my H1b visa and GC application filed through my employer. My visa will still be valid or not?

    Please help...

    Hi Gurus,

    If you look at my signature, My 485 has been transferred to TSC from NSC and AP is still stuck at NSC. I have some emergent situation back home , I have faxed the doctor certificate and called USCIS using POJ method and the guy says it might take another month. wat the *****....tried infopass..my local office doesnt have no more appointments.
    My questions:
    1. Can I take Infopass appointment anywhere else which is not my local office?
    2. Can I apply a new 131 application at TSC as my 485 is there now?

    Someone pls advise.

    Hi,
    My H1B 6 years will be finished in February. My I140/485 were filed in August and I will be laid off on December 31. What options do I have now?

    - My employer had filed my immigration papers at my current work location. They are willing to relocate me to different location but are not sure on the impact of change in address. Can I relocate with my current 140/485 filed for current address?

    - Can my H1 be extended based on approved labor? I can then move to new location with same employer on renewed H1B and start the entire process again?

    My wife did not have SSN when her FP was done. I would not suggest writing ITIN either.
    But must write the A# from FP notice onto the form.

    But I believe my wife used her ITIN# in place of SSN in some other GC related forms , Is this going to be an Issue??

    10/17/2007: Total of 60,000+ EB-485 Applications Adjudicated During July-August-September by NSC and TSC

    * AILA has reported that during the period of July, August, and September 2007, Nebraska Service Center and Texas Service Center adjudicated 60,000 plus EB-485 applications. Since EB visa number was unavailable for the entire EB cases in August, presumedly a substantial portion of these cases could include those cases for which the EB visa numbers were pull out before July 2, 2007 in June and adjudicated throughout the period as reported by some I-485 applicants who reported that their I-485 applications were approved when the visa number was unavailable. Interesting.

    I see thread for all other years (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007). So its my turn to open thread for my year.

    Mine is EB2, Feb 2002. Still waiting. I was told that my NC is cleared.

    3 SR, 2 letters to Ombudsman, letters to 3 senators, letters to 2 representatives, 2 fax to NSC, 2 letters to NSC Director, 1 infopass, numerous calls to NSC

    Recently sent a letter to first lady. Looks like all of them are working together. Nobody wanted to respond.

    Please feel free to write your experience if you are 2002 filer.
